After discovering that "favourite music" can stimulate the brain and help people diagnosed with Dementia and Alzheimer's, Ken Richards and Helen Hewertson decided to use their combined talents to reach out during and "make a difference".
Ken is a gifted guitarist and performs instrumental tunes from the 1950's, 60's and 70's to raise money for research.
People in Care Homes, RSLs, Bowling Clubs, Football Clubs, Markets, Camping Grounds and Hospitals have enjoyed Ken Richard's music and significant funds have been raised for the Dementia Research Foundation.
Helen is a capable organiser and wordsmith and takes care of the organisation, administration and promotional aspects of their fundraising adventure.
Ken and Helen are travelling to all parts of Australia in an effort to touch as many lives as possible and to change the quality of life for patients and associated families.
